Las velas son hechas en casa, reciclando velas y crayones usados.

Son muy fáciles de hacer:

1. Preparar el molde donde se va a vertir la cera caliente. Adherir el pabilo al fondo del molde y sujetarlo en los bordes con un palillo de manera que quede al centro.

2. Cortar la cera en trozos pequeños, añadir unos pedacitos de crayón para dar color y poner a derretir a baño de Maria. Cuando esté derretida, vertir en el molde cuidando que el pabilo quede en su lugar. Esperar una hora mas o menos a que se endurezca la cera, y sacar del molde.

The candles are homemade - I recycled some used candles and crayons.

They are very easy to make:

1. Ready the mold where you are going to pour the melted wax. Attach the wick to the bottom of the mold and hold it with a stick across the edges of the mold so it stays put. 

2. Cut the wax in small pieces, add some crayon shavings and melt in a double boiler. Pour the completely melted wax in the mold - be careful not to dislodge the wick. Wait about an hour for the wax to solidify and demold.

dónde consigo los ganchillos cortos y la aguja 

que se ven en la foto anterior. A continuación explico cómo las hice.

Many people have inquired about 

where to find the crochet hooks and mounted needle 

pictured above. Here is how to make them: 

GANCHILLO:

- Cortar el ganchillo (1) al largo deseado con una herramienta rotativa como el Dremel (9) y el accesorio para cortar metal (7)

- Con un alicate (3) sacar el anillo del casquillo metálico del cordón (2), aplicar pegamento (4) en el orificio contrario al del cordon y colocar en el extremo cortado del ganchillo. Esperar unos segundos y limpiar cualquier exceso. 

CROCHET HOOK:

- Cut a crochet hook (1) at desired length with a rotary tool like the Dremel (9) and the metal-cutting accessory (7)

- With pliers (3) pull the split ring out of the small metal sleeve of the cell phone lanyard (2), apply glue (4) to the hole opposite to where the cord comes out, and place in severed end of crochet hook. Wait a couple seconds and wipe off any excess.

AGUJA

- Cortar el cabo de un pincel fino barato (5) al largo deseado, abrir un orificio con una herramienta rotativa como el Dremel (9) y el accesorio para barrenar (8) tan profundo como desee que entre la parte trasera de la aguja, introducir pegamento (4) y la aguja (6).  Esperar unos segundos y limpiar cualquier exceso.

MOUNTED NEEDLE

- Cut the handle of a fine cheap craft brush (5) to desired length, open a hole as deep as desired with a rotary tool like the Dremel (9) and the drilling accessory (8), apply glue (4) and insert needle (6), eye first. Wait a couple seconds and wipe off any excess.
