It is my great pleasure to share with you this picture of a brief, but extremely sweet encounter. During my recent vacation in Rome, Italy, I had the chance and the pleasure of meeting my tatting hero Antonina "Ninetta" Caruso!!!

All I can say is, thank you!!

CLUNY

Cluny, tally, leaf, petal, hoja..........

This is my version of the cluny frame.

I like to call it "universal (pinch-free) cluny frame" :)

Les presento mi versión de la base para hacer hojas cluny

a la que he llamado "base universal manos libres" :)

It is a simple wooden peg board. 

Add or remove pegs depending on the type of tally you want to make. 

Es un sencillo tablero de madera con clavijas. 

Pongo o quito clavijas según el tipo de hoja cluny que desee trabajar.

I've made cards to help me remember the order in which the loom is woven to start the different leaves (numbers) and the order in which the loops are closed to finish (letters and arrows)

 He hecho unas tarjetas para que me sea más fácil recordar el orden en que debe confeccionarse el bastidor para iniciar el trabajo (números) y el orden en que deben cerrarse las lazadas para terminarlo (letras y flechas) en los diferentes tipos de hojas.
